A defining feature of every Evolution Boat is its hand-laid fibreglass construction. Unlike automated production methods, each hull is carefully hand-laid by skilled craftsmen to ensure consistent fibreglass distribution and superior structural integrity. This process eliminates weak spots within the laminate while providing excellent quality control throughout construction. Although more time-intensive, hand-laid construction produces a stronger hull, greater durability and improved long-term resale value.
Designed specifically for Australian conditions, Evolution hulls feature a wide beam, reverse chines and a flared bow to maximise stability and handling. These design elements provide a smooth, predictable ride in varying sea conditions while creating an exceptionally stable fishing platform when at rest. The heavier fibreglass construction also reduces hull noise and vibration, delivering a quieter and more comfortable experience on the water.
Evolution Boats are built with longevity in mind. Every model incorporates fibreglass stringers, floors and transoms, eliminating the use of timber and removing concerns about rot or corrosion. Closed-cell foam is installed beneath the floor and within the stringers to improve buoyancy, strengthen the hull and enhance safety while further reducing vibration and noise.
Practicality is another hallmark of the Evolution range. The decks are moulded separately before assembly, allowing for precise fit-out and improved quality control.
